SANDUSKY, OH – The Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) is working hard to keep Sandusky City neighborhoods free from trash and litter.

The Neighborhood #1 (far east side) cleanup brought an astounding 20 bags of garbage, from the sidewalks and streets, to the donated F.S.I. Disposal dumpster. The dozen, or more, participants volunteered from 9a to 12p walking through city streets and parks gathering pride and positive reactions from residents.

At a time when Banks are not maintaining foreclosed properties, NAC is out making a point to keep the beauty of our neighborhoods from the wayside of neglect.

NAC is asking for residents in Erie County to try and volunteer their time on any of the neighborhood cleanup dates listed in their poster. They offer coffee, baked goods, fruit and beverages to anyone who attends. For more information about NAC activities, contact: Sharon Johnson – rolliejohnson@buckeye-express.com.
